Irvine-based Cryoport Inc. (Nasdaq: CYRX) will use technology from Vineti Inc. in San Francisco to help its clients track packages the company ships.
Cryoport transports biological material used in clinical trials; Vineti last year raised $33.5 million in Series B money for its cloud-based inventory tracking.
The San Francisco company was co-founded by ex-GE Ventures exec Amy DuRoss and Heidi Hagen, previously a vice president at Seal Beach-based Dendreon Pharmacuticals.
