Newport Beach-based Alliance HealthCare Services Inc. reported mixed fourth-quarter financial results and reaffirmed its 2011 outlook on Wednesday.
Alliance provides medical scanning and cancer treatment services.
Alliance reported a wider net loss of $29.6 million in the fourth quarter, compared to a net loss of $11 million in the same quarter of 2009.
Wall Street expected Alliance to lose $3.1 million in the quarter.
The company’s earnings before interest and other items fell 7% to $35.2 million.
Fourth-quarter revenue fell 1% to $117.7 million but surpassed analysts’ expectations of $116.4 million.
For 2011, Alliance said that it expects full-year revenue of $475 million to $505 million.
Analysts are looking for the company to have 2011 revenue of $481 million.
It expects full-year earnings before interest and other items of $140 million to $165 million.
Wall Street expects Alliance to post a $6.2 million net loss in 2011.
Alliance reported its financial results after the close of trading Wednesday.
