Alcon, a Fort Worth, Texas-based eye care company, said it will expand its Orange County operations. The unit of Switzerland’s Novartis AG makes eye surgery devices in Irvine.
Alcon said it signed an 11-year lease for three buildings in the Serrano Creek office park in Lake Forest. It will move 400 surgical research and development workers now in Irvine to the new facility in 2013.
