Yogurtland has hired four executives to lead corporate and regional operations, marketing and brand management following the summer departure of Craig Takiguchi, who led these areas as vice president of brand management.
Takiguchi joined Yogurtland in August 2014 after founder Phillip Chang returned to run the frozen yogurt chain and three executives left the company.
Chang had departed the company in early 2014 to focus on charitable work and returned as chief executive.
Chang hired the four new posts, a spokesperson said:
- Jeff Sweetman, vice president of operations
- Arnold Dominguez, director of operations services
- Don Spring, regional director of franchised operations
- Tim Fuhrman, director of marketing
The four have work experience at several restaurant chains including Lake Forest-based Del Taco Holdings Inc., L.A.-based La Pizza Loco and Dallas-based Dickie’s Barbecue Restaurants Inc.
“This is the right team at the right time to help Yogurtland achieve its next level of growth,” said Chang, who founded the company in 2006.
Yogurtland has about 300 locations with about 90% of them franchised.
