OCVibe Hosting World Cup Watch Party

July 19 event is part of the $4B development's plan to bring year-round sports and entertainment to Orange County

The developers behind the $4 billion OCVibe will host a World Cup watch party at the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) on July 19, underscoring the project’s vision of becoming a year-round sports and entertainment destination surrounding the Honda Center upon completion.

The free event will have onsite food and beverage and cultural programming, OCVibe representatives said this week.

With the first phase of OCVibe scheduled to open in early 2027—which will include the Katella Commons food hall—and full buildout expected by 2033, developers are working to attract residents and visitors from across Southern California to what they describe as one of the region’s largest privately funded developments.

“As Orange County prepares to welcome fans from around the world for a historic summer of soccer, we are excited to host the community at ARTIC and give guests a first look at the kind of energy, connection, and shared experiences that will define OCVibe,” said Bill Foltz, OCVibe chief executive officer. “OCVibe is being built as a year-round gathering place for live sports, entertainment, dining, and culture, and this watch party is an opportunity to begin welcoming people into what will become Anaheim’s newest neighborhood before we officially open early next year.”
