The Downtown Disney District is adding a 1960s British-themed gastropub, developed by Chef Gordon Ramsey in collaboration with the creators of Earl of Sandwich, to its roster of chef-driven restaurants. Â
Dubbed Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, its menu will serve a selection of classic British pub dishes from the celebrity chef such as beef Wellington, fish and chips, and sticky toffee pudding. Â
The pub will be on the second floor of the upcoming two-story Earl of Sandwich location, which is currently under construction, near the shopping center’s west entrance. The design was inspired by London’s Carnaby Street during the 60s and will include two outdoor terraces and a bar area.Â
“Stunning interiors, incredible food and great music, whether it’s date night or dinner with friends or family, The Carnaby is going to bring the very best of cool Britannia to Downtown Disney District,” Ramsey said in a statement. Â
Anaheim’s Downtown Disney ranks No. 7 among Orange County’s top shopping centers with 12-month sales of $430 million. Â
