The Park Place shopping center near John Wayne Airport is adding Postino WineCafé this December as the restaurant’s first West Coast location.
Postino is an all-day restaurant and wine bar was founded in Arizona by Lauren Bailey and Craig DeMarco in 2001. The 5,200-square-foot location will offer a wine and culinary program inspired by the local region.
“Our brand is fueled by providing a space for people to connect over wine appropriate for both the most casual and sacred of gatherings and an all-day menu that satisfies any craving,” co-founder Bailey said in a statement.
The Irvine office and retail campus counts 24 stores and restaurants as of October, including Mother’s Market and North Italia.
Park Place ranks No. 21 among OC’s largest shopping centers by taxable sales. For more on the area’s base of malls and shopping centers, see this week’s print edition of the Business Journal.
