Anaheim prepared meals maker Fresh n’ Lean has ramped hiring activity as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.
The company makes and sells vacuum-sealed, ready-to-heat meals.
Fresh n’ Lean is looking to hire more than 75 workers across departments, including food prep, fulfillment, IT, customer service and sanitation. It’s nearly halfway there and counted 325 employees before the push.
The hiring is driven by an uptick in demand as more consumers rely on delivery amid stay-at-home orders.
Fresh n’ Lean is co-owned by sister-brother team Laureen Asseo and Thomas Asseo.
The company ranked No. 4 on the Business Journal’s list last year of the fastest-growing midsize companies with a revenue spike of 264% to $26.6 million for the two years ended in June.
