Santa-Ana based Garrison Manufacturing Inc. was acquired by Menlo Park-based private equity firm Salt Creek Capital on undisclosed terms. Salt Creek Capital focuses on buyouts of companies with up to $50 million in revenue, according to a press release.
Garrison makes hydraulic cylinders and steering equipment for industrial and commercial vehicles. It was founded in 1939 and primarily serves customers in the construction, oil, and automobile industries. Representatives of Garrison couldn’t be reached for comment.
Salt Creek Capital invests in lower middle-market businesses and “seeks to create value by working closely with management teams to accelerate growth and to improve the operating efficiency of its portfolio companies,” according to its website.
