The 23.1 acre lot previously broke ground in 2006 under a different owner, though it recently was bought at an undisclosed price by RP/PLC Blue Canvas LLC. The developer of the project is Christopher Homes in Newport Beach. The development will consist of two different types of homes. The first floorplan will be two and three-story attached townhomes, which will range from 1,480 square feet to more than 2,500 square feet, depending on the number of bedrooms. The second floorplan calls for 3,500 square feet to 4,000 square feet with four to six bedrooms. Lim Chang Rohling & Associates in Pasadena along with Scheurer Architects Inc. in Newport Beach are working as the architects. A 2 acre public park will also be added at the development’s entry on Newland as well as four open green spaces to be included within the community. Model homes are under construction and are expected to be open by October. Price ranges of the homes have not yet been released.
