Ex-IVC President to CalSouthern

Glenn Roquemore has been named chancellor of California Southern University, a newly created position at the Costa Mesa-based school.

Roquemore was president of Irvine Valley College from 2002 to 2019. His educational career spans seven local colleges including University of California-Irvine.

Roquemore, who will help spearhead new initiatives to boost student engagement, will report to President Gwen Finestone and work closely with Provost Lasharnda Beckwith.

CalSouthern offers about 25 online degree programs to working professionals.
