Medium Home Price Will Dip Slightly Next Year in OC: Chapman Economists

47th Annual Economic Forecast

The median home price in Orange County will decline slightly next year, according to Chapman University economists led by President Emeritus Jim Doti.
Doti’s team presented their annual economic forecast today at the university’s campus in Orange.
The team also predicts a 12.9% increase in residential building permits next year in Orange County.
On the national level, the Chapman researchers said they do not think there will be a recession next year. However, economic  growth is expected to slow to 1.8% from 2.7% this year.
