Newport Beach-based private equity firm L Squared Capital Partners said it has acquired Nashville-based Kano Laboratories, a provider of professional-grade penetrating oils, lubricants and grease.
Kano’s products are used predominantly in industrial maintenance, repair, and operations applications.
“We are excited to partner with the management team at Kano to help accelerate the Company’s growth, particularly through accretive acquisitions,” Randall Hunt, managing partner at L Squared, said in a statement today.
The investment represents L Squared’s fourth platform investment in Fund IV, a $840 million private equity fund that closed in April 2023.
