City of Hope Buys 52 Acres in Great Park Area

Officials say purchase is “investment in the future”

City of Hope has purchased 52 acres of land surrounding its campus at the Great Park Neighborhoods in Irvine from Five Point Holdings LLC.

City of Hope also bought 2000 FivePoint, the building that houses its administrative offices and is next door to its Lennar Foundation Cancer Center. In total, City of Hope spent $88.5 million for both the land and building.

“This is an investment in the future for City of Hope to continue to meet the current and future needs of the people who need us the most— our grateful patients—and their families,” President Annette Walker said in a statement.
