Harbinger Motors Gets $400M in Pre-Orders

Closes $13M Series A Funding

Electrical vehicle manufacturer Harbinger Motors Inc. today announced that it has received 4,000 vehicle pre-orders valued at $400 million.
Harbinger received multi-year orders from Bimbo Bakeries USA, Thor Industries and several other commercial vehicle dealers.
“While other new entrants struggle to fill their order pipelines, we have extensive pre-orders and backed-up demand for our medium-duty electric vehicles,” Chief Executive John Harris said in a statement.
Harbinger, which makes chassis custom-fitted for delivery vans and other similar-size medium-duty electric trucks, moved its base from Los Angeles to Garden Grove last year.
The company said it also recently closed on $13 million in Series A funds from venture and strategic investors, including additional funding from Coca-Cola System Sustainability Fund, bringing its total funding to $73 million.
