The Priority Center is pleased to announce Shireen Varga as the new Chief Program Officer, which is vital to the organization’s inclusive work culture and day-to-day- operations of all county, state, and federal contracts and grants, informing strategic planning and program design, objectives, compliance, and innovation.
Varga joined the Priority Center in May 2014 as a crisis therapist for the Children’s In-Home Crisis Stabilization program, working with suicidal and homicidal children and teens, then Program Director of the Outreach and Engagement program.
Varga has an MA in Clinical Psychology, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and is the Alpha Detachment Commander for the Joint Medical Command for the California State Guard.
The Priority Center Board Member John Hoefer is the President of Milestone Risk Management. He leads a team of professionals who provide insurance, risk management, and workplace safety solutions for middle-market companies in Southern California. Hoefer is also the Founder of the Brewery Insurance Program, which provides insurance services to breweries nationwide.
Hoefer is a graduate of Boston College with a BS in Finance.
