Orange County Grantmakers (OCG), a membership association for local funders, philanthropists and corporate social responsibility leaders that advances equity by creating strategic alignment among regional philanthropists and nonprofits, has announced its 2025 Board of Directors.
“These exceptional leaders represent Orange County’s diverse business and philanthropic landscape, bringing a depth of experience and strategic insight that will be invaluable as we develop concrete action steps to build a more equitable future together,” says OCG Executive Director Taryn Palumbo.
New appointees include:

Stefaan Poortman, Senior Director, Global Corporate Giving Strategy and Programs, Edwards Lifesciences: A social impact leader with more than 25 years of experience in international philanthropy and development, Poortman develops purpose-driven strategies to advance the programmatic initiatives of charitable organizations around the globe.

Denise Scott, Vice President, Client and Community Relations Director, PNC. With two decades of experience in corporate marketing and nonprofit leadership, Scott creates impactful engagement experiences that enhance early educational opportunities, arts and culture, and economic development.
They join four returning board members:

Shirish Dayal, Executive Vice President, Tarsadia Foundation. With more than 25 years of leadership in business, the arts, and philanthropy, Dayal collaborates with 100+ global partners to drive change in health, education, and economic empowerment.

Nate Brown, Senior Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility, Director, PIMCO Foundation. Brown’s commitment to improving opportunities for families living in poverty has driven his 20-year career, which includes building strategic alliances, coalitions, and partnerships to advance equity.

Julie Tran Tomanpos, Associate Vice President, Philanthropy & Community Impact, Wells Fargo. From housing to small business, Tomanpos leads cross-sector collaboration in O.C. to address racial and social equity and accelerate an inclusive economy.

Joanna Kong, Executive Director, Sun Family Foundation. Following a successful career as an attorney, Kong now works in philanthropy to solve pressing social issues with a focus on advancing educational opportunities and the well-being of underserved communities.
