Buchanan Street Partners, LP, a nationally recognized real estate investment management firm based in Newport Beach that focuses on making debt and equity investments in commercial, multifamily and self-storage real estate, has announced the hiring of Jon Suddarth.
Suddarth joins the Buchanan self-storage team and is responsible for sourcing new acquisition and development opportunities in Colorado, the Pacific Northwest and Northern California’s Bay Area. Prior to joining Buchanan Street, Suddarth served as a Principal of a Colorado based self-storage owner and operator, as well as VP of Real Estate with a national California based storage operator. Jon brings over 10 years of experience in the self-storage industry, having led the acquisition and/ or development of over 1.6 million square feet and 18,000 units, totaling approximately $335,000,000.
Suddarth serves on multiple boards in the Denver area and holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas Summerfield School of Business, with a Master’s degree in Real Estate & Construction Management from the University of Denver. Suddarth lives in Denver, CO and enjoys spending time coaching youth sports teams and being active in the Colorado mountains with his wife, three young children, and two dogs.
