Irvine-based data analytics company Alteryx Inc. (Nyse: AYX) hired Amy Heidersbach as chief marketing officer to help fuel further growth.
She was most recently CMO at online employment website CareerBuilder; Alteryx noted her experience at finance firms including Capital One, PayPal and Visa, in a press release on her appointment.
“Her experience launching and growing marketplace businesses [and] … proven ability to build purpose-driven brands,” will help Alteryx enter new markets and grow globally, the company said.
She replaces Seth Greenberg, who left the company in February.
Alteryx on July 31 reported second-quarter results that topped analysts’ expectations, with sales climbing 59% to $82 million. Shares today traded up 3% to about $135 and an $8.5 billion market cap.
