Alteryx Inc. (NYSE: AYX) surged 6.5% to $47.14 and a $2.9 billion market cap. Shares in the Irvine-based data analytics software maker are trading at about half their daily volume. The company reports quarterly earnings Nov. 7.
REAL ESTATE
Newport Beach-based William Lyon Homes (NYSE: WLH) rose 4.9% to $13.29 and a market cap of $521 million. The builder this morning reported third quarter revenue increased 9% year-over-year to $533.5 million and earnings hit $0.68 per share, topping a Yahoo analyst consensus of $0.67.
