Hot Dog Chain Founder Plans to Sell It

The owner of Santa Ana-based restaurant chain Jerry’s Wood-Fired Dogs plans to sell the company he founded in 2003, the Orange County Register reported.

Jerry O’Connell recently closed two locations—at the Market Place in Irvine and in Santa Ana—and plans to sell a third to a longtime employee.

He said the chain’s sales have been flat in recent years.

The Ladera Ranch, Costa Mesa and John Wayne Airport locations will continue to operate.
