Irvine-based Advantage Sales and Marketing LLC has named Tanya Domier as chief executive, effective Jan. 1.
Company founder and current Chief Executive Sonny King will become executive chairman.
Domier now serves as president and chief operating officer of the company, which provides sales, marketing and retail merchandising at grocery and other stores for brands such as J.M. Smucker, Unilever, Gatorade, and Hanes.
Domier began her career with Orrville, Ohio-based J.M. Smucker Co. and joined Advantage in 1990. She has held a variety of executive level positions in sales, marketing and operations.
Advantage has 750 employees in Orange County and 30,600 companywide employees. The company’s 2011 revenue was $1.1 billion. It has 66 offices in the U.S. and Canada.
