Vestand, Formerly Yoshiharu, Faces Delisting from Nasdaq

Nasdaq has notified Brea-based Vestand Inc., previously known as Yoshiharu Global until last September, that it has initiated a process which could result in the delisting of the company’s securities, according to a May 26 filing.  

Vestand has not been in compliance with the Nasdaq listing rule since December because the company failed to file a report for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, nor has it filed its 2025 annual report or first quarter results for 2026.  

Nasdaq granted Vestand extensions in January then May to regain compliance by May 18. The latest notice, known as a staff delisting determination letter, arrived on May 19 but will not immediately result in a delisting or suspension of trading, the filing said.  

Vestand requested to appeal the letter on May 22 though acknowledged that if Nasdaq does not grant its requests for a stay and extension, its shares will be delisted from the stock exchange. The company said it “is working diligently to prepare and file the Delinquent Reports as soon as possible to regain compliance with the Listing Rule.”

Yoshiharu-turned-Vestand is a ramen chain that pivoted operations to include real estate development and digital asset ventures (Nasdaq: VSTD). Shares are down 4.8% to 44 cents apiece with a $6.8 million market cap.
