Newport Beach-based BKM Capital Partners and Kayne Anderson Real Estate have acquired an 8.5 million-square-foot portfolio of light industrial properties for $1.81 billion, one of the largest transactions of this type of asset in the U.S. since 2022, company officials said.
The portfolio, purchased from Blackstone-controlled Link Logistics Real Estate, includes 51 multi-tenant industrial properties totaling nearly 2,000 tenant spaces across California, Washington, Texas, and Georgia.Â
JV officials said the acquisition also includes eight regional offices and 40 employees involved in property management, leasing, construction and accounting.Â
CBRE’s Darla Longo, Joe Cesta and Michael Longo brokered the deal on behalf of the sellers.
