Brett Wall is stepping down as executive vice president and president of the Neuroscience portfolio of Medtronic.
He will be succeeded by Dr. Kweli Thompson, current senior vice president and president of Cardiac Rhythm Management, effective June 1, according to an SEC filing.
“After over 25 years, I’ll be leaving Medtronic in early July,” Wall wrote in a LinkedIn post. “It’s been a privilege to be part of an organization so deeply committed to advancing patient care and to have had the opportunity to lead the Neuroscience portfolio during a period of meaningful growth and evolution.”
Medtronic said that Wall will remain an employee until Sept. 1 to assist with the transition.
Wall is set to be the keynote speaker of the Business Journal’s Innovator of the Year Awards on Oct. 7. He received the award last year.
