Montrose Environmental Group, which provides environmental services, today began trading under its new ticker (NYSE: ONT).
The company, which has most of its executives in Irvine, changed its name on April 21 to Onterris, combining “on,” symbolizing motion and intent, with “terris,” meaning earth.
“This brand reflects our company’s evolution and role in solving some of the defining environmental challenges of our time,” Chief Executive Vijay Manthripragada said in a statement. “By uniting our expertise across science, engineering, data and consulting, Onterris facilitates economic progress without compromising environmental stewardship.”
Shares of Onterris fell 4.3% to $21.19 and a $764 million market cap.
