WHY: During his 12 years at Chapman, Parlow contributed to the direction and success of Chapman and led the $500M Inspire campaign that expanded the university’s impact in areas from business to the arts. Previously dean of the Fowler School of Law, which set records for strength of the incoming classes and employment of its graduates during his tenure.
IN THE NEWS: Stepped into new role as president in September, succeeding Daniele Struppa, who is returning to Chapman’s mathematics faculty following a sabbatical.
NOTABLE: Fundraising success as dean of Fowler Law led to the establishment of several new professorships to support faculty research and teaching.
