LED Fixture Maker Sets Up Anaheim Plant

Light fixture maker Lunera Lighting Inc. has expanded into Orange County by opening a new facility in Anaheim where all manufacturing work will be done.

The new office will take 26,328 square feet of space that will also house a design lab with about 15 to 20 engineers and designers once fully set up, according to a document from the Redwood City-based company.

Lunera designs, assembles and tests commercial light-emitting diode fixtures that replace fluorescent fixtures. The company has installed its LED products in more than 10 million square feet of commercial buildings since its beginnings in 2009.

Lunera’s Anaheim facility will be headed by a team of three executives who arrived last month: Shannon Biggs, senior vice president of operations; George Sigler, chief financial officer; and Michael Bremser, chief technological officer and vice president of engineering.

Lunera last year appointed Michael Keddington as the new chief executive, replacing Karen Owyeung. The company expects Keddington to split his time between the headquarters and the Orange County office.
