Costa Mesa-based fundraising website DealGooder LLC has been sold to Tacoma, Wash.-based Good Done Great Corp. on undisclosed terms.
DealGooder.com was founded in 2010 and connects shoppers with deals at local businesses, which pay the company based on sales to visitors it directs to websites. DealGooder donates half of its net proceeds to local schools and nonprofits.
Good Done Great is a cloud-based company founded in 2008, offering services to help nonprofits carry raise funds and expand their community reach.
“This transaction allows DealGooder to expand beyond Orange County, eventually helping the less fortunate nationwide,” said Cara Mungo, cofounder of DealGooder.
DealGooder will re-launch Nov. 2 as a subsidiary of Good Done Great.
