The price of gold fell 0.04% to $1,659 per ounce.
Shares of Seal Beach-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp. fell about 2% to $13 for a market value of $1.1 billion. Energy companies were generally down on Monday.
Irvine-based Sabra Health Care REIT Inc. was down about 2% to $21 for a market value of $789.2 million. Sabra announced its acquisition last week of the 60-bed assisted living facility Stoney River Marshfield in Wisconsin for $8.2 million in a sale-leaseback transaction.
