More Gains Seen for OC Exports

The value of exports from Orange County will increase by 5.8% in 2013, reaching a total of $27 billion, according to a recent report from California State University, Fullerton.

The gain would follow a 4% growth this year, according to the school’s Institute for Economic and Environmental Studies.

The projected annual increases would be on slower pace compared with 2010 and 2011, which saw increases of more than 20% amid a rebound from the recession, which brought a steep decline in 2009.
