Anaheim-based audiovisual products maker Premier Mounts is moving to smaller headquarters in Fullerton, where it also will keep manufacturing, design and some warehouse operations.
It also is shifting 80% of its logistics operations to a warehouse in Memphis, Tenn. The company said the Memphis location is better suited to serve its customers throughout the U.S.
Premier Mounts has no plans to scale back on its workforce of 70 employees in OC, according to spokesman Tom Noack.
The privately owned company makes mounts and carts for audiovisual equipment, including flat-panel display mounts, speaker systems and accessories.
It works with display manufacturers here and globally, and sees about $25 million in annual revenue.
Premier Mounts will take 65,000 square feet at the new building on State College Boulevard next month, when the lease on the Anaheim building ends. The current headquarters covers about 150,000 square feet.
“We’re going smaller and more efficient,” Noack said. “Our current building is 50 years old, and it doesn’t have any energy provisions right now. At the new building, we’ll have things like high-cube stacking. We can do much more warehousing much more efficiently.”
The company also expects to add more machinery in Fullerton for faster production.
Premier Mounts, founded in 1977 in Brea, has been in Anaheim for the past 15 years.
