Newport Beach-based hotel management company Rim Hospitality said it named Don Li chief operating officer of the company’s newly established Asia-Pacific division.
Li previously served as chief executive of Shanghai-based Swiss International Hotels and Resorts.
He will handle hotel repositioning and management along with development assistance among other duties for Rim’s Asia-Pacific division, which serves hotel investors from China and other Asian countries, the company said.
Rim celebrated its 30th year in business last year with a rebranding that included a new logo and tag line, “Passion for hospitality. Commitment to results.”
In October it added the 224-room Fullerton Marriott to its roster of more than 80 hotels and restaurants under management. It’s portfolio also includes brands such as Starwood, Hilton and Hyatt among others.
