Orange County hotels started off the year seeing strong growth across several key metrics.
The average daily rate in January rose 6.3% from a year earlier to $155.43, according to the most recent data available from industry researcher PKF Consulting USA.
Countywide occupancy rose 7% to nearly 69.7%.
Meantime, revenue per available room grew 13.8% to $108.26.
Huntington Beach continued to be a standout submarket with its revenue per available room surging nearly 32% to $147.44.
The average daily rate in Huntington Beach was up 10% to $215.72, while occupancy rose 19.7% to 68.3%.
