Aliso Viejo-based New Home Co. Inc. was up 15.5% to $10 and a $200 million market cap. The builder reported 2015 revenue of $430 million, up 187% over 2014, and net income of about $22 million, quadrupling last year’s $5 million.
SERVICES
Newport Beach-based Acacia Research Corp. was down 21.8% to $2.96 and a $150 million market cap. The patent licensing company reported a 4% decline in annual revenue year-over-year and a net loss of $55 million, excluding one-time items.
HEALTHCARE
Tustin-based Peregrine Pharmaceuticals Inc. was down 62% to a $95 million market cap. The cancer treatment developer said it would discontinue a third-phase trial of its leading compound.
