Midday Stock Roundup

The S&P 500 was down 0.4% to 1,919.82.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.2% to 16,426.06.

The NASDAQ was down 0.8% to 4,500.54.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was down 1.8% to 1.79%.

The price of gold was up 1.3% to $1,227.

TECHNOLOGY

Irvine-based Ingram Micro was up 21% to $35.88 and a $5.6 billion market cap. The technology products distributor and service provider announced yesterday it had agreed to be acquired for $6 billion by a Chinese conglomerate.

Newport Beach-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp. was up 5% to $2.64 and a $238 million market cap on high volume. The natural gas fueling station operator traded shares by midday at a rate 50% above its 90-day average.

HEALTHCARE

Irvine-based Lombard Medical Inc. was up 26% to 99 cents and a $20 million market cap. Shares in the maker of stent-grafts have doubled this week in the run-up to its quarterly report, expected Monday after markets close.
