Newport Beach-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp. was down 10.3% to $5.69 and a $515 million market cap on profit-taking and moderately high volume. Shares in the natural gas fueling station operator had risen 30% this week.
Santa Ana-based Universal Electronics Inc. was down 3% to $45.60 and a $692 million market cap. The audio-video accessories maker had by midday traded double the number of shares compared with its 90-day average.
RESTAURANTS
Costa Mesa-based El Pollo Loco Holdings Inc. was up 5.6% to $12.97 and a $496 million market cap in a second day of share price increases after a positive analyst rating. Its stock price is up about 12% on the week.
