Irvine-based Autobytel Inc. was up 14% to $18.60 and a $195 million market cap. The automobile sales lead provider said it would buy the 85% it doesn’t yet own of Autoweb Inc., an online car auction marketplace.
HOMEBUILDING
CalAtlantic Group Inc. was down 5.7% to $38.79 and a $5.4 billion market cap on high volume. The company was formed by the merger of Irvine-based Standard Pacific Corp. and Ryland Group Inc. in Westlake Village. Its shares began trading this week.
