Alliance Healthcare Services Inc. was down 27% to $12.40 and a $130 million market cap as investors reacted to news that 51.5% of the radiation clinic operator’s shares would be purchased by a Fuzhou, China-based holding company for $18.50 a share. The 5.5 million share purchase of stock held by funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management LP was valued at $102.5 million yesterday when it was announced after markets closed. Alliance’s share volume was by midday about 20 times its 90-day average.
