The price of gold fell 0.5% to $1,199.
HEALTHCARE
Mission Viejo-based Ensign Group Inc. was up 5.7% to $47.93 and a $1.1 billion market cap. Wells Fargo & Co. upgraded the nursing facility operator’s shares to “outperform” from “market perform.”
RETAIL
Huntington Beach-based Quiksilver Inc. was down 12% to $1.99 and a $340 million market cap. The surf apparel maker said founder Robert McKnight has returned to the role of chairman, replacing Andy Mooney, who also stepped down as chief executive.
