Aliso-Viejo based Microsemi Corp. was up 1.2% to $36.80 and a $3.5 billion market cap. Toronto-based BMO Capital initiated coverage on the stock with an “outperform” rating and a target price of $47.
SERVICES
Irvine-based Ubiquity Inc. was up 38% to 42 cents and a $60 million market cap. Shares are trading at five times average 90-day volume, and the technology development company closed its acquisition of Sacramento-based Coversant Inc. for about 13.2 million shares of Ubiquity common stock.
