Irvine-based TigerLogic Corp. was up 19% to 75 cents and a market cap of $23.2 million in a third straight day of share price increases.
On Friday the software maker reported that second quarter net revenue grew 21% year-over-year to $1.8 million, with a net loss of $2.6 million—about 10% higher, excluding special items, than the same period last year. It said the deeper loss was due in part to “higher legal and financial advisory services” costs related to a possible sale of stock by the company’s largest shareholder and evaluating “strategic alternatives available to the company.”
