HOMEBUILDING
Newport Beach-based William Lyon Homes was up 5.71% to $27.22 and a market cap of $850 million. It is buying Polygon Northwest Co. LLC for $520 million. The acquisition brings 4,200 lots primarily in Seattle and Portland.
ENGINEERING
Anaheim-based utilities consultant Willdan Group Inc. was up 12% to $8.22 and a market cap of $60.8 million. The company has projected annual growth of up to 15%, a gross margin of 40% to 45% and adjusted EBITDA margin of 5% to 10%.
