The S&P 500 fell 0.57% to 1,822.67 in afternoon trading Friday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.73% to 16,052.98, while the Nasdaq was off 0.68% to 4,026.42.
The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond fell 0.11% to 2.62%.
The price of gold slipped 0.13% to $1,318.80 per ounce.
TECHNOLOGY
Costa Mesa-based circuit board maker TTM Technologies Inc. was off about 8% to $7.53, a day after announcing that its first-quarter revenue is expected to come in at the low end of previously announced guidance of $290 million to $310 million. TTM had a recent market value of $622.50 million.
HEALTHCARE
Irvine-based Allergan Inc. rose about 3% to $120.61 for a market value of $36 billion, making up ground after a selloff that hit healthcare and tech stocks yesterday. The company is up about 6% since the start of the year.
RESTAURANTS
Huntington Beach-based BJ’s Restaurants Inc. was trading down about 3.5% to $30.33 for a market value of $859.98 million. Restaurant operators were trading down on Friday.
