The price of gold was off 0.44% to $1,372.90 per ounce.

Huntington Beach-based BJ’s Restaurants Inc. was up about 5% to $34.92 for a market value of $990.12 million. An article that ran Sunday on investor website Seeking Alpha called the chain the “best growth story in casual dining,” pointing out that menu updates and mobile ordering could help push up the company’s stock, which has been hampered by overall challenges in the casual dining sector.
HEALTHCARE
Irvine-based drug maker Allergan Inc. rose about 2% to $130.60 for a market value of $38.98 billion.
CLEAN TECHNOLOGY
Newport Beach-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp. was off about 3% to $8.99 for a market value of $807.81 million.
