The yield on the 10-year bond dropped 4.8% to 0.675%.
Crude oil climbed 1.3% to $42.54.
Gold jumped 2.3% to $1,995 an ounce.

Newport Beach-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (Nasdaq: CLNE) rose 6.1% to $2.87 and a $570 million market cap. Shares for the company are currently trading at about a third of their typical daily volume and have surged about 166% since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.
HEALTHCARE
Medical device makers rose during Monday midday trading, led by Staar Surgical Company (Nasdaq: STAA) of Lake Forest, which was up 4.3% to $49.03 with a market cap of $2.3 billion. Shares for the company are up 43% since the start of the year.
Masimo Corp. (Nasdaq: MASI) increased 2.3% to $218.93 and a $12 billion market cap after the company said it has received FDA approval for its pleth variability index (PVi), a noninvasive tracking tool used as a an indicator of fluid responsiveness in mechanically ventilated adult patients.
