The price for a barrel of oil fell 26% to $12.54.
The price of gold dipped 0.6% to 1,724.80.
REAL ESTATE
Five Point Holdings (NYSE: FPH) in Irvine jumped 11% to $4.64 and a $690 million market cap. Shares for the real estate developer are currently trading at nearly four times their typical daily average. The increase was the most significant among a group of several real estate competitors. The S&P Composite 1500 Homebuilding Index was up 4% today.
HEALTHCARE
Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (NYSE: EW) slipped 2% to $219.32 and a $45.8 billion market cap. Shares for the Irvine heart valve maker are up 11% in the past month.
