TECHNOLOGY
Chipmaker Skyworks Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ: SWKS) in Irvine rose 2.9% to $119.67 a share for a market cap of $20.4 billion. The company today said it’s developing connectivity solutions to support next generation wireless technologies set forth by Wi-Fi Alliance.
MANUFACTURING
Ducommun Inc. (NYSE: DCO) increased 5.7% to $42.68 a share for a market cap of $490 million. The Santa Ana-based aerospace and defense manufacturer’s rise today was tracked by other aerospace makers including Boeing and Lockheed Martin.
