The price for a barrel of oil increased 0.9% to $56.13.
TECHNOLOGY
Skyworks Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: SWKS) rose 2% to $82.99 and a $14.3 billion market cap. The Irvine-based chipmaker supplies Apple Inc., which rallied Monday after Morgan Stanley boosted its price target. Skyworks today said it will expand its 5G wireless infrastructure applications work.
HEALTHCARE
Evolus Inc. (Nasdaq: EOLS) in Newport Beach dropped 3.6% to $18.32 and a $503.3 million market cap. Shares for the company, which makes wrinkle treatment product Jeuveau, are still up 46% since the start of the year. Today’s trading volume was around two-thirds of its daily average.
