Midday Stock Roundup

The S&P 500 was down 0.2% in midday trading to 2,936.87.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 0.1% to 26,524.63.

The Nasdaq fell 0.8% to 8,093.10.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond shed 0.8% to 2.51%.

The price of gold increased 0.3% to $1,285.

The price of a barrel of oil increased 0.5% to $63.82.

HEALTHCARE

Evolus Inc. (Nasdaq: EOLS) in Irvine fell 6.2% to $24.50 and a $669 million market cap. The company is scheduled today to release first quarter results after the close of markets. Shares are still up 49% since Feb. 1 when it announced regulatory approval to sell a cheaper version of Allergan PLC’s best-known product, Botox.

TECHNOLOGY

CalAmp Corp. (Nasdaq: CAMP) rose 1.5% to $14.46 with a market cap of $450 million. Shares are trading at about 80% their daily average for the Irvine-based telematics products maker, which is scheduled to report its fiscal fourth quarter financials after the close of trading today.
